That photo on our homepage shows how dry we WERE.  You may see Doug and Damon in the background with water......we didn't stay dry or clean for long!!!

A great last day!  We are all utterly exhausted and looking forward to coming home tomorrow, but it has been a blast!

Tonight we had a party to celebrate such a fantastic week.  We played a game of pass the parcel and musical bumps.  Well done to our winners!

Tomorrow we are off to Bedgebury for a picnic lunch and fun on the play trail.  We will see you all tomorrow.

    :)

With day 4 upon us, we knew we only had one more full day left here before we left to come home.  With Phil now down with us, our final four members of staff were complete.  The children were surprised to see Doug this morning....sporting some rather nice passionfruit coloured nail varnish.  What had happened the night before?!!?!

Day 4 consisted of rock climbing, big swing and of course the Swattenden favourite, the leap of faith!!

Peaches is now with us for the day and zoomed up the telegraph pole for the leap of faith, Jo was very impressed seeing as she was the "newbie" of the group today.

There will be another entry this afternoon explaining what else has happened today but here is the moment you have been waiting for.....the winner of Wolves Got Talent is......Toby and Sam C!!!  Fantastic singing and dance moves to One Direction's classic - Best Song Ever.  The singing hasn't stopped there either.  Every meal time they put on a performance for the other school.  It is so entertaining and they always end up being clapped.  Thanks boys!!

Day 3 was great fun!  A lot of us conquered our fears of heights by taking part in the high all aboard activity. This  included climbing a telegraph pole, onto a platform and waiting for 3 of our friends to join, then jumping off!!  Sounds crazy but it was absolutely brilliant.

We also had a go at team building activities with the tri-crane.  One group ended up singing their way to completion, whereas the other group took 40 minutes to hook one rope.

Day 3 also gave us the night walk in the evening.  It was pitch black and the mist started to appear which made the whole experience seem so much better.  Gary told us about the history of the woods and also showed us the tree which had swallowed a fence from decades ago.  It was really interesting and it is something the children and staff really took in.  On our walk back from the night walk, we saw 2 satellites and were told it would take only 20 minutes for them to orbit the Earth!!!  Day 3 ended with hot chocolate and early nights.

Day Two started loudly with Doug and Damon whistling to wake us all up.

Breakfast started promptly at 7:30 (or was that supposed to be 8am?).  With the children all well fed and watered we were ready to start the day.

We split into three groups for our activities- archery, mountain biking and high zipwire.  Pictures are available to see in our gallery.

The final activities of the day were rafting and shelter building.  No one fell in but everyone did get a little damp!

Tonight we are looking forward to Wolves Got Talent Contest.  The winner will be announced tomorrow.

We had a brilliant first day!  After we arrived, we all had to make our beds and then have our first room inspection.  There were plenty of duvet ghosts around!

Our first activity was the low adventure course which consisted of jumping, swinging and climbing but also a lot of mud! Jo, Jo, Damon and Doug surprised us with buckets of cold water.  We all got very muddy.

We all had fun getting to know the Swattenden site whilst working in small teams.

In the evening we played flag raiders in the dark and had a drink of hot chocolate before bedtime.

Day One was a huge success!
